hows the weather..who cares?

Just wondering how many of us really care about hows the weather? what is the weather forecast? and why? how many of us visit weather forecast websites or watch weather forecast channels and if we do whats the reason? does the weather really bother you guys at all? and if yes then why? and if no then why not :)

I don't really care unless there's going to be an extreme drop/rise in tempature, so much that it would mess up my normal schedule. For example, I want to know if it's blizzarding tomorrow because then I'll know to leave a little early due to traffic build up. Or if it's going to be 95 degrees out, I want to know that so I can dress appropriately. I don't follow it to the degree though. As someone who works as a cashier.. I find myself ALWAYS "chit chatting" about it with customers (they bring it up, not me) - as a form of small talk, and I always feel stupid when they'll ask things like "so is it supposed to be warm this weekend?" and all that stuff because I NEVER follow along with the news and NEVER visit the weather channel. lol. So, overall, I couldn't care less except for the EXTREMES, like snow, rain, or humidity.

Dressing up appropriately! Maezee you have given a very good and an important reason i must say, i never thought of that while putting this topic on board. Also, weather is a hot topic of discussion and sometimes we do need to follow that only for chit chat :)

I think it's good to know the weather depending on your plans. Like if you plan on travelling or camping or having a bbq then knowing the weather would come in handy.

True captainmorgan! Weather becomes important when it comes to arranging some parties, or going on long drives, planning for weekends. So i usually keep a check on weather forecast for similar reasons.

When I used to live in a tropical country, I did not bother about the weather forecast. Since it was always relatively the same.
Since I moved to North America, the weather channel has been a great help. It helps me plan my days. It also helps on what kind of clothes to wear. Specially at night, when the temperature really drops to freezing.
