Silly Ghosts - Tied up in Nonsense!

These days, Hollywood is churning out fodder. Strangely they still get suckers like me to watch them. One of them is called 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past'. I spent about 135 minutes of my life watching it. Stale jokes, expected happenings and a lot of tongue in cheek that fell off the Niagara Falls. Why do they make such movies? Matthew and Jennifer could have chosen some better movies to act in, I am sure or is it the sub-prime that has gone straight to Hollywood too? Michael Douglas was just another toady wart in the movie. Anyone seen this silly and predictable movie? Care to railroad it too?

That does sound awful. I don't think that Michael Douglas is as interesting to watch as his father was. I guess it is hard to live in the shadow of a famous parent, though. I recently saw The Proposal which got pretty bad reviews, but for some reason I just resonated with that one and liked it a lot. Maybe it was because I saw it in a group with many nice friends and were were already having such a good time. But whereas the critics did not think it was funny at all, I thought it was hilarious.

Yes, it sometimes is. You may enjoy some movie however mediocre when you are out with friends. I have seen some parts of Proposal in DVD but it failed to appeal to me. It is collecting dust. I will see it some day when I have nothing better to do. But 'Ghosts of Girlfriends Past'really takes the cake! It is far lower than mediocre. It is bad.
