Is it hard for you to change your opinion about a person?

Is it hard for you to change your opinion about a person after your first impression/opinion about them? All of us are familiar with the saying 'First impressions are the best impressions' How many of you think this is true? Have you always made great first impressions? Did you ever regret that you were not your best the first time? I am not totally convinced with the wisdom behind this one. If I had believed this one, I would have ended up not having few of my most cherished friends. I try to be my best the first time, but I am sure I have not been every time.

Yes, totally agreed. As they say, only time will time. And I believe it applies to relationships too. Thanks for your reply. Have a good day.

I think it's hard to change opinions about people, but I think that's a good thing. If I was able to love someone whom I despised only minutes ago, I'd feel as though the relationship was quite shallow... Whereas, I think the best relationships - the most passionate - are built up slowly, over time. Of course there's an initial impression, which can take a while to overcome (for better or worse), but there's also an accumulation of shared experience, which is what ultimately defines friendship. Also: if first impressions are absolutely key, then I'm pretty much boned!

Well, i don't change my opinion about any person by force but it get changed inside me ... i don't believe that ....if a person is bad for me then he is for everybody ...or good for me then good for everybody ... so it can be ..that a person has been introduced to me as a bad guy ...but he is good to me ...and some where inside me feelings and opinion has been changed about him and vice-versa.... thanks:)

it's not hard for me to change my impression on someone. I know sometimes what we think is not correct until we learn about it.

At first meeting, generally i try not make any impression about anybody. Because, many a times, i found later that that first impression went wrong. In course of times, the overall impression forms up. Thank you.
