To me it seems Christians are most often portrayed as narrow minded lunatics. Has anyone else noticed this?

I do not like it one bit. The media makes us look like hypocrites and yet at the same time, calls us all bigots and prejudice because we are against certain lifestyles, and believe that only in Jesus Christ we can be saved and that our lives have to show thankfulness to God. So on one hand, they blame us and call us hypocrites and want us to show a good example. On the other hand, when we live a Godly live, they want us to be hypocrites. Yet everything everyone else does no matter how vile and disgusting is all right with them and they take pleasure in those things.

Yes...and it is not really good for those new Christians who would really want to change their lives...

I have ... and it seems that any religion can be slated in the media when some of its supposed adherents do looney things. To be fair, christianity does have some weird pastors - just like Islam has some weird "imams". I think some people like to see these weird ones as being representative of the group as a whole. I know that isnt true - but the media will not present their stories that way. Happy myLotting!
