I just saw this on Yahoo. Evidently they are going to ration Eggo Waffles to retailers! They had a flood at one plant and another plant needs major work done. I do not eat these but I am sure for some people it will be a MAJOR problem. Here is the link for the story so you can read the details. http://finance.yahoo.com/family-home/article/108191/leggo-your-eggo-theres-a-waffle-shortage How is this going to effect your life?????

You laugh, but my kids are going to be very unhappy if I can't get the chocolate chip or strawberry Eggo's. We will compensate with other things though if we have to!

I laughed because they made it out as a BIG News story. I understand that for people with little kids it might be a disaster.

Can you imagine the fuss they would make if McDonald's had a problem getting enough hamburger patties?

I saw this on Yahoo right before I checked my email this afternoon. LOL. It's funny to me that this kind of "news" is considered important, for starters. But to answer your question - I'm not big on frozen waffles. In fact, I'm not big on waffles at all except for once in a blue moon when I'll eat 'em at a restaurant or make them myself at home.

That is what I thought was funny. Why does this have to be considered big news? I guess for some people it might be a major catastrophy.

Oh no! Don't tell that to my kid! What will we do? What will he do? What is he supposed to do at 11pm at night when he craves for an eggo? I better run to the store then, after work, and horde on eggo. I hope they don't run out of the chocolate-marble ones that I like too.

I hope you made it to the store and got your Eggo's for the kids. They say a lot of stores are sold out.
