I know, internet can be addicting and takes so much of your time. I'm just wondering how you balance and manage your time between the two. How many hours you spend online.

Well it's really quite easy for me to manage my time between the two, since its only my husband and me. I currently don't have a job and well my husband does, so when he's at work, I'm online. I use the internet to also be able to talk to him when he has some down time so it's not completely bad that I spend my time online. And when my husband comes home from work then I get off the computer and spend time with him. If I get on the computer on the weekends when he's not working it would be for a few minutes to check my emails and then search for a movie online for me and him to watch.

I spend almost every waking moment within arms reach of the internet. I am in bed now while my g/f sleeps beside me. I will put the computer down and go to sleep. When I wake up I will get coffee and resume with the computers. Emails to check, Work to be done, Money to be made. To just count the hours is hard for it seems like all of them. I would probally say I am online 15-16 hours a day.

I try to have a to do list everyday to make sure I done what I need to do. I am online most of the time. I leave my computer on and let it be idle when I am working offline. I am used to multi-tasking so it doesn't bother me that much. When I really need to concentrate and focus more, I sign out from messenger to keep friends from sending messages (but i'm still online).

When working on campus, it has nothing to do with the balance of time online and my family, but when enjoying my long holidays, I spend more time with my family instead of playing as often as I do on campus.

I spend way too much time online, I admit. My family doesn't do so much together so that's why most of the time, we do our own thing. Not even for dinner do we eat together at one table. Only occassionally do we eat at the same time. I'm so use to being online a lot that I spend most of my days surfing the web, but I still go outside of my room sometimes to step away from the computer for about 15 minutes every once in a while. Internet is so addicting because there's so much you can do. You can do so much more than just check and email and log off. I have to say that I spend probably over 10 hours each day online.

I try and keep things balanced. At times, it's hard because I work on the computer a lot but well, I try and share a meal together with family during the course of the day. I spend a minimum of 5 hours online a day.

For me, internet is important, but I am not addicted to it, so I keep things balanced. I am online only when I have something to do, otherwise I'd rather spend time with my family.
