I was most impressed by Slovenia's performance yesterday - thought they did really well to beat Russia over two games. I'll be cheering for them in the World Cup! Absolutely outraged that Henry - one of my favourite players, before last night - got away with what he did. It made Diego Maradona look like an honest player... I hoped the Republic would make it through, then I'd have had a vaguely local team to support. Can't stand England; I hope they lose every game.

dont only blame henry. why you did not blame the referre and lines man? they had responsibility to say that the goal or not

Well that is how the cookie crumbles.But all in all we see that all strong teams have made it to the Final stage and it should be a good display of soccer.The World Cup in any case is the showcase event of all sports with the maximum amount of viewership and the star teams will add to the spectacle and make it a gala event.

i'm very suprised that a small team like slovenia can beat the big team "RUSIA" although RUSIA coached by famous coach Guus Hiddink and famous player like Andrey Arshavin bravo Slovenia !

Ya, that's great guys i have watched france a few hours ago. Till 103 minutes they are so strong, and henry has handsball before passing to gallas for a goal. It's football, anything can be happened. I think just a luck doesn't overshadow ireland team. Happy mylotting

I hope unfair team like France won't be the champion. I predict that they'll do the same thing they did in the last Euro: didn't pass the group phase. For Uruguay, they have done a great job. Congrats for Forlan, cs.
