Hi, I don't have much experience on photo editing software, except photoshop, and there were many of them. I would like to know is there any other photo editing photo software is great on editing photos? For instance, if I want to merge two photo together, or merge two persons from two different photos together, and I can also add some special effects to it? Thanks!

I only really use photoshop so I can't really recommend any other. If you have plug ins on your photoshop software, you can do a lot of things with it. I just got my CS4 Extended version and I'm still tinkering with all the features.

Try looking at GIMP. I heard it's the free version of photoshop. Haven't tried it but maybe it could work for you.

Well, I don't really know how to use photoshop, but I'm using GIMP to do some simple photo editing and graphics design, as it's an open source program, hence I can download and use it for my company applications. I just found another online photo editing site -- PhotoFunia.com, there are many effects that you can apply to your photos. I'm not sure if it has what you want, but you can just try it out, as it's free.

Adobe Photoshop is the best one, i know. its also very familiar and friendly to user with its many more option such as photo marge, photo enlarge, photo color editing, adding effect. the program of adobe photoshop are capable to meet almost every requirement, what edit want a user, professional or non profession. i'm using the version 10.00, i means photoshop 10.00. i heard photoshop got another new and latest version 11.00, its got more advantage. anyway, "coral draw" also a good photo editing software, you may try. but i think coral draw are not suitable for non professional. its very hard to me.

I have only used Photoshop and I am happy with it. But I have heard that Picasa also have good photo editing features. Although I have not tried it, I would recommend you to use it. I have heard a lot of positive ratings about Picasa. I do not know about any other photo editing software.
