how safe to give your info and postal address to money making sites

Hi guys! There are some PTCs and PTRs wich ask for your too much information like your first, last name, your postal address etc etc and even your date of birth and telephone number. I want to know how safe it is to give all these info to such sites? I have learned about some legit sites here in myLot and visited them but they are asking for all this info. So i would like to know what to do and whether its safe to give that or not? Ur inputs are appreciated. Thaks!
