Times are really tough right now for me and I have many gold rings I do not wear anymore. (Gained alot of weight) I really love my rings and hope one day to wear them again, but thats looking dimmer and dimmer. I want to take my son to a christmas weekend in a special town, be able to get some gifts, and have extra money for bills. Would you ever sell your jewelry if you were in a rough spot?

Don't have much of jewelries though but I don't think i can sell them! I mean, with you buying them or having them means that you love them . You could give it to your grandkids someday. I prefer jewelry to be pawn only when you are in a rough spot but not to sell

I would be looking into pawning, but don't know if I would ever be able to "buy" them back. I only have about 6-10 rings, but I am sure I won't get a good amount back for what I paid for them. I only have a son, so really can't pass them down to him, unless like an engagement ring or something when he gets that old. (only 6 now)

You might get a little amount when you pawn them but at least you can have money to spend for your little boy for now. Well, I am looking into an engagement ring or something that you can give him when he gets old.You may need to wait for years, but at least, you know, the older jewelry, the better!

ahaha....I just went to see how much they would pay me for 6 rings. One they said had a jewl missing so they would just "scrap" it, the other 5 basically 50 bucks for all!!! The one with the jewl missing was paid over 200 for, the others were around 50-100. Needless to say, I kept them.

I dont have much 'real' jewellery but I'd sell it all except for a tiny silver locket which has sentimental value if I thought I could get a good price.

all of my rings are gold either 10k or 14k for I can't wear anything else, they turn my fingers green. I have my class ring and won't sell that for it is "mine" and has meaning behind it. Some others I just got because I wanted them. I love rings and they are my downfall :):(
