Sorry for the graphic nature of this one and any other part that may be offensive.. mea culpa My friend was relaying a story to me about a time when trains used to run on the island .There was a terrible crash on the island in a place called Kendal and now that crash has come to be called Kendal crash. That crash killed many people and many who weren’t killed were dismembered. Now one of the passengers on the train was a man named Joe and he too was killed but his body was so brutally disfigured and dismembered that identification of the body was almost impossible. The only part of Joe’s body which wasn’t so severely damaged was Joe mid section .According to the story among the relatives brought in to identify the bodies was Joe’s wife and when she sheet was removed from one particular body a somewhat forlorn wife took one look and (went into a reminescent mood ,briefly smiled )and said “Yes that is Joe allright ,that is Joe” Don’t ask me how she knows that it was Joe but she did .Maybe it was particular texture of Joes skin .Any suggestions anyone as to how this woman knew it was Joe. Would you know your partner if you were faced with a similar situation?
