There are people who sleeps in specific times. I found many who does not care about time. Whenever they feel to sleep, they just fall asleep. I cannot sleep during day time. Do you maintain any specific timing to sleep? Or you can sleep anytime?

I can sleep anytime.. In Fact, I do.. I work 3rd shift and am awake all night. I usually go to sleep in the afternoon, and wake up around 10pm... on my days off I got to sleep in the early evening and wake up at 3 in the morning.. And of course if I have the occasion to (which I usually don't) I could leep regular night hours.. I was always able to sleep well in the afternoon. I think the sound of traffic always lulled me to sleep. So when I got an opportunity for working at night - I didn't think it would be a problem to fall asleep in the daytime.. It has now been 11 years and I do quite well. :)

What a life style you are leading, friend. But as you are habituated with this, so it seems that you are comfortable to this. Have a great day.

I believe my childhood ability to sleep during any time of the day is still intact. I haven't tried to do that in a while, but I think I can still relax well enough to slip off into dreamland.

I have difficulties sleeping so there are days when I do not sleep at all. Once I had gone two days straight without sleep. I can sleep anytime of the day depending on how tired I am. I know that at one time my husband was working from 5:30AM-10:00AM and I would stay up until he went to work. At times it was hard for me because I would feel tired, but my husband can not wake up to alarm clocks. I never have a set schedule for sleeping.

Thank you, I will have to try to remember that. For some reason my mind likes to work overtime when I am sleeping. I have noticed that lately I have been waking up screaming or blaming my husband for not doing something he was suppposed to do. Last night I blamed him for not calling me and telling me he was going to be late and that happened three months ago. It is strange how the subconscious takes over when you sleep.

Let me give you a small tip. Once you plan to sleep, go to bed with an easy dress. Normally close your eyes, have a deep breath.. inhale upto fullest of of your lungs can, then exhale. Do it three times. So with this you will find that your lungs has a huge capacity of expansion, which you dont exercise generally. Now start breathing normally. Keep your eyes closed. Try to imagine that you are in a lift and you are getting down from 25th floor to ground floor. The lift is very slow. The lift has started getting down and you are seeing the indicator coming down slowly, 25.....24.....23..... With every countdown of lift indicator you try to feel that you are going to a very sweet, nice, beautiful place. (you can think of any lonely beach area where you visited) In the meantime lift is getting down in that same slow rate. 3.....2....1.....door opens. You suddenly feel so happy that you have landed in that beautiful beach. So nice breeze, the beach is so lonely, a sweet sunlight. Waters are splashing on the shore and some drops are touching your body. Slowly you are reaching near the water. You will find a cottage too close to the water. Think it is yours. You are bringing out the key and opening the door. There you enter in your bedroom and hitting the bed. Feel, let me sleep now hearing the sound of sea and wind. Friend, i just combined some meditation techniques along with my own styles. Try is your own style, but apply some techniques like this. Remember one point, while walking in the sea shore try to feel your mind is with no fear, no stress, no tension and no anxiety. Try to feel your family and think how good they all are......... This is auto sugestioning yourself. This will help you to recover yourself from sudden blaming your husband. Have a soundsleep soon. Thank you.

Oh! once you desire to sleep, just remove all issues from your mind. Try to avoid all anxiety and feel you have no stress and tension. Probably that will help you to sleep without difficulty. Thank you.

yeah , I can not sleep at any time. I'm the former that you said. I must sleep at a very specfic time. But not very absulute. For sometims I got so tired ,which makes me just can not open my eyes.I think I will get asleep immediately. Usually I just seelp at a very late time, when thereis no light. And there is no noise. at that time I may get a good sleep. Enjoy your life.

You are somehow time oriented and at times, as you said; you fall sleep being tired. You cannot bear out light and noise during sleep? I can sleep even in the busiest road sitting in the bus. Ha ha ha.. Have a great day.

I usually find it hard to sleep at daytime unless i'm bored and have nothing to do. This usually happen an hour after lunch. At night I can't sleep til it's almost midnight. I just think that i find it hard to sleep unless my eyes are really, really tired.

I am one of those people who have to sleep in a specific time. My body clock can't tolerate me sleeping in any other time. I also have to sleep in my bed, i can't sleep in a couch or in any other place. In exception if i need to sleep so bad my body force me to do it. Like if i havent sleep in 24 hours or so, even if i dont want to sleep my body will force me to do it. I remember one time sleeping on a bus cause after partying the night before without sleep, i misrun the bus from my school so i have to go back.

Sleeping is an integral part of our everyday life, like fooding etc. So what, if you break the routine sometime, but it is required to sleep some times in every 24 hours. Thank you.

I can sleep at anytime. Well I mean if I'm sleepy then of course I will fall asleep. Even though my husband tells me that I never really sleep. I think he's right though. I'm usually up all through the night and then I'll sleep for a few hours then I'm back up cause my husband has gotten up for work and then I'm up until later on the next night. But if I'm crazy tired then I can go to sleep.

I'm like you I can only sleep at nightime. Once I'm up in the morning and its light outside that is it I'm up. I sometimes wish I could sleep at anytime but its not possible for me. The only time I can sleep during the day is if I'm sick with a fever.

I can sleep in time but not always. There are times that it's hard for me to sleep without listening musics(with plugged earphone) I sleep almost 12 hours if I've slept at 4am in the morning. Maybe this was a symptoms of having insomnia. I don't know!
