How to find an old friend in highschool through the internet?

My buddies from high school are organizing a small reunion this coming Christmas holidays. We've been looking of an old timer friend from high school who mysteriously disappeared after graduation. Meaning, we haven't heard from him since that day. We know he's still around, maybe immigrated to other country. But many of us could not locate this person. We are hoping that maybe he's just wondering around the internet and might find him here. Can you suggest of a site to start with?

easy, its either they are in facebook or friendster...josephians are so facebook-holic and are utterly lured by social networking sites so they won't be hard to find.

I would start off by googling the person's name who you are looking for. You will be surprised at what you might find by doing that. If that is of no help, then I would suggest you do as others have suggested and try looking on Facebook or Myspace, etc. I know personally, I have found many of my old schoolmates on both those sites. Good luck finding your friend!

Try looking on a social networking site like Facebook, or whatever is popular in your country. On these sites you usually search by full name - so if you know their names, you can look them up and add them as a friend and contact them there.

For me, Facebook has been the site where I've reconnected with a lot of people from my high school. It seems to be easier to reconnect with someone from the past on Facebook than MySpace.
