honey! i shrink the ribs!

besides bringing some wine this coming saturday night for my female friends i'm planning to bring also ribs, but evertime i cook pork ribs using slow cook process by the time they are done there isn't harly meat left, is there problem with the pork ribs im buying or there's a proper way to cook it?..i'll be happy to hear you ideas
