Hi, Job security and money may be the basic reason. But some people like this profession. They enjoy their teaching. In my life i have seen some dedicated teachers. For them school and students were everything. Nowdays this very rare thing.

Why do we enter the teaching profession? One simple reason, it's a noble profession. If not for us, their will be no doctors, engineers, architects, lawyers and etc. Another reason , we love children and Fullfillment, when we see our students successful in their field we are happy already. To see them successful is enough for us to be happy and fullfilled. Our happiness , fullfillment and contentment in our profession is what money can't buy. So for me teaching is not a profession it is a vocation. Because in teaching nobody gets rich....

Teachers enter in the teaching profession because they like to teach. And, another reason is this type of job can be easily found.

Because they believe they have the capacity to teach. They love to care, teach and share the knowledge what they have. Thanks for the life of all my teachers, i give credit to them for what i am now because of them.

Money, control, they love teaching! I guess those would be a few of the basic reasons. I think I would enjoy teaching a subjest that I found fascinating. That would make my job a pleasure.
