hi guys.. anyone of you confirmed that newmoon will b showing on cinemas today?.. if so, has anyone watched it? :) i was wondering cause i also want to watch the movie. but i must admit i was disappointed of the first twilight cause i read the book prior the watching the movie. and i was really disappointed of the movie since some parts of the book were not clearly shown and they altered some parts a bit. and also i have to admit bella is not as pretty as she was described in the book. to think that the book described bella and edward to be really beautiful. but in the movie, they could have gotten better looking actors and actress. am i right?

I haven't watched it yet, but I read from news online that it has gotten a midnight box office hit or so, the term was. Can't remember the exact phrase. Midnight smash, awesome. I think I would go catch this one soon once it's out.

Why is that so..? Tell me, I don't mind knowing.. is it because of the plot itself or the characters..

I watched New Moon last week, though I was bored with the scenes of Jacob and Bella and Jacob's effort to win Bella's heart, my enthusiasm picked up on the last part of the movie because it has lots of actions. Of course New Moon is not all about the tender moments of Bella and Edward as he is destined to leave Bella to make her safe from the world of vampires. Though people expressed disappointments with this film, still I can say this is better than Twilight. I even posted my review on this film in my triond http://cinemaroll.com/fantasy/in-defense-to-new-moon/ to give my friends information about its plot and the core of the story and Stephenie Meyer's reaction to the style of Director Chris Weitz.

hey.. well id have to agree with you on that one.. it is really better than twilight.. there is more story to this rather than the first one.. and the story of new moon is really somewhat related to the book.. if you have read it then im sure you would have understood what i meant and what i compared..

I haven't read the book, I just watched the movies and I liked both of them. I guess the good thing about not having read the book is that I don't have anything to compare the movie with and I simply enjoy the plot in the movie. I don't mind reading the book now, after watching the movie but I don't have the time to finish it.

i now what you mean. Im actually afraid to see the movie and end up leaving the theater house with a frown and a disappointed heart. The trailers made it so interesting , remember twilight? Darn, when i saw the trailer i said its so amazing and it was but only the trailer. I actually prefer they make twilight saga series instead of a movie. Atleast, every favorite part would be shown. Right? Anyways, we should still give it a shot.

I have watched the movie yesterday and it was not really a disappointment as the first one, Twilight. I would agree that reading the book before watching the movie is really a mistake. Instead of enjoying the movie, you will be watching the points or parts that are altered from the book. I was really hoping to see some parts of the story that i liked but wasn't shown :( Some of the characters portrayed by some actors and actresses are really far from what is described from the book. But in fairness to Jacob, he was soooo hot!

i haven't watched it. but i dont think i will watch it either. i usually get disappointment when a book turns into a movie. they usually delete some of the significant scenes. i know i am being biased when i say i prefer the book. but the case not only applies to the twilight series but almost all of the books turned into movies. i would much rather read the book. :)
