how to protect my script when asking other people modify

hello everyone, I bought a PTC script recently with much money, now I want to open a site, but I want a webmaster to make some desgin, they need my script to study, but how can I protect my script to avoid be copyed? I can not do anything if they copy my script for another site. ths a lot!

The only solution is to choose someone you can trust. You cannot protect a script from being copied if you are going to allow someone to see it. Make sure that you have a comment in it that states your copyright (it isn't legally necessary, since copyright exists in any document immediately it is written, but it just serves to remind anyone who copies it that you own the copyright). Make it clear to the person who is looking at your script that you don't want it copied. Of course, if you have, yourself, used parts of someone else's script in compiling your own, it will not be original, so only certain things about it would be legally covered by the Copyright laws.

Somehow I missed the fact that you had bought the script. In that case, of course, it's copyright belongs to the person who sold it to you. As I said, you must only let anyone see it if you can trust them not to steal it for their own use. If they do, then it is the copyright owner's responsibility to take action.
