How to jazz up my blog

I am pretty new to blogging and I was hoping to jazz it up with a few interesting features, you know just jazz it up a bit. So can anyone direct me to free resources to this end?

Hi Anish, you can get the different gadgets from the blogging platform itself. However, dont put too many things in the blog, it will slow down the loading, and the visitors will lose interest.
It's better to focus on writing and building backlinks. Nobody really pay much attention to all the funny features, they just want to scan the information, and then decide whether to continue reading or not.
