I have this habit.
.Though not daily, very often, I select the auto off mode in my player and set the timer..I listen to music and fall asleep.
.How about you? Do you listen to music before going to sleep?

I can't sleep that way, I get way too interested in the music! I find myself listening to solos, unique fills and familiar riffs. Then I have to think which song I've heard before that used that riff, then I'm wide awake!
I have a white noise machine I got at Walmart a couple years ago for $10. They probably have them back in the stores for the Christmas season by now. You have a choice of around 10 sounds--birds, a babbling brook, the ocean, rain, etc. I like to listen to the brook and sometimes when it's raining I'll use the rain sounds since I can't hear a gentle rain inside my house. White noise is the only way I can sleep, I absolutely can't sleep in silence!
