I love to cook so for me that is a major part of the fun. Also we have family from out of town and I really enjoy them being here. So after dinner we always play games or cards and it's just so great to have everyone involved the children and adults. Black Friday is a big tradition with my children. The whole holiday is just full of fun and family. I also take food up to my friends who are working that day. There is just nothing like the holidays and having your family in and about with you.

I'm afraid that I'm entirely too impatient for black friday.

This year I am cooking the turkey for our family Thanksgiving and I am really looking forward to it. I have never cooked a turkey before so I am a little nervous but excited to give something new a try. I love to cook and learning a new recipe will be fun!

I'm looking forward to relaxing with the family. I love the potatoes and gravy and stuffing.

My favourite part of Thanksgiving is the mashed potatoes. This year, I made them (we've already had Thanksgiving in Canada) and I think they came out well.

My favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is the turkey, the gravy and the creamy, buttery mashed potatoes!! Topped with peas, of course. I love the savory more than anything else!!

I can't wait to have the turkey and stuffing. I also like having a yam casserole and green bean casserole. I will also be eating Pumpkin Pie and my homemade fudge. I also love being with the family. After dinner my husband and I will come home listen to Christmas music while we put up the tree. We will pop in a Christmas Video and snuggle together while sipping Sparkling Cider. I love this time of year.

I always love the stuffing! I make my mom make it in the turkey and out, too! My favorite thing to do is to add dried apricots to the mix before you prepare it. This is one of the best things that you could do! Trust me, you should try it!
