Do you listen music when you drive?

I not only listen but I sing along. Usually I listen to country but often will turn to the classical station so that I can really relax, especially on a long trip.

I always do. If I don't I will get bored. Most of the time I just listen to whatever is on the local Alternative station, but sometimes go for classic rock as well!

I always have the radio on in my car. I really love the oldies music from the '60's. There is a relatively new station on in our area that plays music from the 50's and 60's all the time but it's an AM station so the reception isn't all that great. I would be totally lost if the radio broke in my car.

I like to listen music when I am driving a car. Usually it will be some soothing melodious song. Either classical or semi-classical. Some times some good movie song also I will be keeping in music system. Language is not a bar for me. Any good song will do.

Yes I do. I also turn it to the kids music so they can enjoy a bit of music too. It's better them being bored and possibly distracting the driver.

*sigh* I used to listen to the radio then I had kids. Now I hardly listen because I can't hear what they are saying over the radio usually. I used to listen to Kidd Rock, U2, NIN, Alan Jackson ect Clearly kidd rock is inappropriate so it's rare I get to listen to it as well as a few others.

yes we do. we listen to the local radio station as well as different music stations plus we listen to cds sometimes too.

I hope that when you do that you keep the volume low enough so you do not distract other drivers, like those two blocks away? Many of these children have early hearing loss because they have their music so loud it damages their own ears. So then they turn it up louder and damage everyone else's ears. No, I never listen to any kind of music when I drive because where I live they have some very bad drivers and I have to drive for myself and for them too. I need my full attention on the road and my listening ears on. Here we have a law that when an ambulance goes by taking someone to the hospital the other drivers are supposed to be courteous and pull over to let the injured person pass. However some kids have their rock music thumping so loud and they are "bopping" to the rhythm so preoccupied that they do not see or hear the ambulance. I am sure you would never do that!

i usually have the cd player on, radio doesn't work in my car. just depends on what i feel like, on what i put on. i like the music only there as back ground noise, not to loud.

I love having a cd on when I am driving, I like to have it nice and loud and love to sing along to the music. My hubby says I am re living my youth and always moans when I leave the cd in the machine and on very loud when he gets in my car to use it!! I always quitely had a laugh, I'm so wicked

I have an Itrip so that I can jam out to my Ipod while I drive. I don't have a certain genre, just whatever is my mood at the time I make the playlist. I do have to watch out for speeding up on fast songs, though. I've caught myself a couple times and had to take my foot off the gas so I don't get in trouble! :P
