Close a tab?

So on a PC if you press Alt+F4 you close the window, however is there a shortcut like this to close the current tab in Firefox? Just wondering. Seems like it could be useful.

hi,it is easy. you just press Ctrl+W that can colse current tab. you can try.

The answer is absolutely right. Ctrl+W does the trick. It is really hard to find shortcuts sometimes.Thank you for the information.

Yea pressing ctrl+W is the best way to close the current tab. I do it all the time.

Or you can use Ctrl+F4. That works too!
