Do you wish there were vampires?

I am currently reading the 3rd twilight book, and I must say that I often find myself daydreaming about what it would be like. To know a vampire, and if they really exist. Sometimes I really wish that I could find someone like Edward. These fictional characters are giving me unrealistic expectations of men. Haha!

Lol I know what you mean. I used to read A LOT and in a lot of the books I'd read, they'd always be filled with relationships/guy "cliches" and I feel like eventually we start to lose track of what it's like in the real world: very few cliche-inspired moments. But seriously. I would love to meet any "good guy" in the books I read (especially chick lit): the ones that show up at just the right time, say just the right thing, and so on. You get the point. Because in my life, things are always opposite as what they are in books. There are no awkward moments in books (or very few), and the guys always show up at the best and most convenient times. Ugh! If only reality could be like that. sigh. lol. I'm not big on vampires, although I read the first Twilight book (and liked it - but never got around to reading the rest) - but I have to say that I'd rather not have vampires in everyday life. That would just give me one more thing to worry about. Besides, most vampires are like.. evil, not really boyfriend-material. lol. I think it would be AWESOME if other "fantasy"-type creatures were real, though, like dragons, and unicorns, and faeries and all that kind of stuff! That would be pretty cool.

LOL you mean like maybe warewolves? Yeah Im not really into the evil vampires. But all of Edwards strengths are amazing. Plus his patience that I have found in the book, I love his selflessness. I really wish there were more people out there like that. My husband is great, but he isnt as perfect as the books portray Edward. I know what you mean though about getting wrapped up into a book, sometimes I get so wrapped up in them, that the closer I get to finishing them, I start to get sad because I dont want the book to ever end, I just want to keep reading about their lives. I always hope for a sequel, but really, there isnt a need for one, because there wouldnt be a good plot, I just want to continue. LOL

Well, I wouldn't like to be a newborn vampire unless I was going to be as good or better than, oh I forgot, you're still reading the third book so I won't spoil anything to you. I think it'd probably be cool to be immortal and good looking, but when in reality all your friends grow older and pass away, I'd take a mortal life and do all the things I want to do in one life span. THink about doing everything already for the past 1000 years make me feel sad.
