Why do some men stray?

I have seen many marriages broken because the husbands are not satisfied with their wives. Top Hollywood actress like Elisabeth Hurley, Hale berry are the sexiest of women but their marriages have broken because their mates in spite of having such beautiful women as their wives have gone looking for new relationship. What do you think is the reason for this? why are some men not loyal to their wives?

Its not just men that stray. Women do too. Just because someone has a BEAUTIFUL or HANDSOME spouse doesn't mean that their spouse has a good personality, they're easy to live with, or they are truly in love.

I think men stray for different reasons.some men stray when they are not contented with their wives.they are looking for an "adventure" with having other women.some stray when they are insecure about themselves.they want to prove that they're still hot and attractive,so they look for other women for affirmation.some just got bored with their marriage so they're looking for thrill.

good question!!! every woman wants to know. i blieve it is because of low self esteem, need to prove that other women r still attracted to him, he feels inadequate in the bed with his wife & communication broken down between him & his wife.
