Hello friends and dear mylotters, Here in our country,it is a common practice to wake and mourn for days when our loved ones die. Usually it takes 3 days to one week and even longer,depending on the family's decision. And,the wake usually takes place at the dead person's house or family house. Now a days,with modernization,some people put their loved ones body in a funeral homes and the wake days takes place there too.
