HI, I am very interested in the field of group dynamics. I think there maybe many factors to influence the group process. Maybe the leadership is one of critical factors. Maybe the interests, needs, goals, rewards are the important factors. Some people like to join in the group in the online environment without reasons. I want to know what drives people to join in the group and work together? Can someone explain this phenominon to me? thanks!

A group needs a leader, a doer, a listener, a thinker, a writer and and recorder. There is only one leader. In my Spanish language class we filled out a quiz to see which rule we were best suited for. I was a leader and a doer. I think rewards and enjoyment are important in a group situation.

Thanks. I think people to join in a group are influenced by many factors. Maybe the roles which you wrote above are all very important for a well-structure group. I think if you want to run the group well, you must consider both the outside and inside factors. In some persons researches, other group members also influence the current group members. In a group, some members like to take free bikes, how to avoid this phenomeon? I think it is very difficulty to do.
