I have a 14 year old girl that loves the twilight series. She lives sleeps and drinks it. With the arrival of the new movie, she was telling me some of her friends were staying home from school on Friday to go to the movie. My question to you is- would you let your child skip school for to see a popular movie? Or would you insist they see the move on the weekend? :)

I think it would depend on my child's previous performance in school and if she deserved a reward like that. I have two girls..one is 11 and the other 16. I would let them do it based on the fact that their grades are good and they don't stay out of school alot. They saw the movie yesturday. They love the twilight series too.

Im 17 and absolutely love the twilight series as well, but I wouldnt miss college to see it. Priority wise school/college work is more important than a movie, there are plenty of opportunities to go see a movie - either at weekends or even after school but there wont be as many opportunities to catch up on work. Would just like to add the new moon film is excellent! Im sure your daughter will love it!
