Ash & leaf bits on my van

Hmmm.... would you say anything? I was outside checking on my oldest 2 who were playing @ the neighbors in their yard. However, the neighbor is also burning. So I figure while I'm out there I will clean out some junk from my WHITE van. Well, then I look closer there are leaf bits on my van as well as ashes. I wipe them off and there are lil marks so I put a lil spit on my finger and they wipe off. The bits are even on my roof and everything. I dunno about you but if something I was doing made a mess on someone else car even if unintentionally wouldn't you clean it up? offer a car wash? As it was whatever they were burning earlier when the kids were all in my yard had floating ash so at one point it was like snow flakes of ash falling. I know when my girls overshot the garden hose and hit the neighbors on the opposite side. I asked the neighbor if he wanted me to wipe off his car with a towel. He said no as it was just water, but it's the right thing to do in my mind KWIM? I dunno, should I say something? I'll probably ask hubby when he gets up.... but what do my fellow mylotters think?
