i had a bcc removed from my right shoulder (i am right handed) the insition was just over two inches long and just over an inch at its wides point ... i had 7 sutures under the skin and one rolling one all way along with three small sutures at the widest section... approx.. 24 sutures all together if you count the individual ones on the continues stitch.... my skin had to be pulled pretty hard to close the insition... i had this done last thursday... should i wait till next week before returning to work????

What type of work do you do? Can you properly do your job with your arm that way? Can you afford to take the extra time and will your work allow you to? Does your work have something you can do while you recover? Every persons level of pain is different. If your not feeling up to the task and feel you need a few more days then perhaps you should take them off, if you can do so with out losing your job.
