How improve english skill?

I am a student in college,but i am poor at english,i often had a low score at english.so can you help me,please?

English is easiest language in the world. But some countrys, for example china, many people can't understand english. It is not that they have no flair for languages,but langusge difference causes that. If you want to be better in english, first you must be speaking and listening, you should not first learn to read and write. Of course, I know you must let exam better in school, for exam, it is no way except study hard. I give you a skill, and you need not read much articles for learning english, and you only learn your textbooks skillfully,it is enough.

were talking about language not subject. eyes on the board. numbers can be read in many languages like arabic, spanish, hindi, etc...

Mathematics is a language , just like Latin , Spanish , English , Chinese etc .. It's the oldest language known to man and the simplest one at yet.
You can describe an orange as being "round in shape" using English .. using mathematics you can describe it using the geometry of the shape.
Computer systems at the basic core are just 1's and 0's which is actually easier to understand than high level languages that compile into binaries which can be understood by the low level structures as you head into the hardware level.The computers are able to understand one another ... using base two mathematics.
I hope I have made you understand how mathematics is also a language.

I am in the same sistuation with you,wanting to improve my English.I think you should't pay much more attention to how much score you have got,the ability of you English skill is more important.As a Chinese student,we most can get a very high score,but little can't exchange well with an foreigner.Moreover,there is no way but practice more you can improve your English!

i think your english skill is much better than my.yes,i agree that english shoud uauslly practice,but next month,i will attend the CET-4,i have not confidence.because,last year i failt....
i am so fear it.

Improving your English skill depends on how much time you spend and how badly you want to improve. Language involves writing and speaking. Let's start with speaking English, you have to read loud to practice and master the accent, the right pronunciation. Get an English news paper, read like you're a newscaster, like a CNN anchor, practice speaking and try to exaggerate the words and try to put feelings like conveying your emotions whether you agree or disagree with what you are reading. Next will be the writing part, read more on theories like the usage of figures or speech, pronouns, adjectives, subjects, predicates and most of all, the tenses. Include the right uses of punctuations, commas and colons and other marks that needs to be used properly when writing English. Learning is a continuous process, I'm still learning too. Open the dictionary, learn new words every day and put it in a sentence.

English is a difficult language, even for those of us who grew up speaking it. All i can say is just keep practicing. The more you use the language, the more comfortable you will get with it and the better English speaker you will be.

thans for your advise,i just reading chinese books in the past,because i think english books is so difficults to me ,i can't understand.but from now on ,i will reading englih books.of course,i will reading them which can easily understand.

You can learn from watching foreign movies that include english language without subtitle.lol it often works with me, and maybe you have joined in mylot is the best way to improve your english skills. There is many ways to get it, the most important is you enjoying the lessons. Have a great day

Learning English has many kinds of ways,but it justt you to speak and listen to English.
As far as I'm concerned , youu can learn English just come here as often as possible. This may be a good to improve your English skills. What's more you can listen to some famous speech which still can help you about your English. Last but not the least is that you can buy some books for you to read.
