it is a very nice ring...Mine is yellow gold, and thats the only thing i dont like about it! Im goin to get it dipped in white gold. It has 5 small diamonds on either side and then a bigger one in the center, all to geher its about a carot and a half!

I don't see the ring anymore, but I looked on your profile and thinks that's beautiful - I can see why people like gold better for an engagement ring but I think you've made a great choice and white gold is much better than normal gold :)

I like gold better for an engagement ring but that's just me the important people are you and your potential spouse you will both be living with it for a long time to come, hopefully so you have to really like it.
