Please don't do anything about vampires! It's being really, really overplayed now, and I don't think that anyone is going to be getting famous over another vampire book anytime soon. I personally like to read the coming of age stories, and how girls mature, both emotionally and physically. Try to write something like "Summer Sisters" by Judy Blume. That was a good book!

Great point of view, bwanna!Yes,I agree, vampires are overrated, and also very unoriginal right now.The theme you suggested would be a very good one,as I can still relate to my coming of age and can speak quite easily about it

Very good to know that you are writing a book. Excellent ! I wish you all the success. Years before, when I had all the time, I ebjoyed reading the classics, the long indepth novels. But, these days, with my full time job taking most of the time each day, I don't get to those classics. I prefer, once in a while, reading short stories, just for relaxation and getting rid of the stresses.

I love fiction and enjoy stories from adventure to love. It must be interesting, catching the imagination. Wilbur Smith is one of my favourite authors. He has the knack to tell a good adventure story. He makes use of historical facts in his stories, especially with regards to Africa. Eric Lustbader is also good. He makes use of his knowledge of Japanese tradition and martial arts to tell exiting stories. If fiction isn't your thing, I see a lot of autobiographies in the stores, otherwise "Do it yourselve" type of books.
