Are you a facebook addict?

Nowadays, I noticed a lot of people no longer use their social networking site other than facebook...I've also noticed that they get too busy and even no longer send text messages unlike before...they prefer to get in touch with you through facebook. They also have different kinds of games...that affected their life, they get serious about it because one time I went to a birthday party and one of the topics was the game they played, wondering about their crops or their cafe, so ironic that it's part of their lives already. Anyway..I once was a facebook addict but lately I've realized it's time to tone down my internet usage and be back here LOL!(^_^)

I taught my mom how to sign up for it so she also get addicted to it.There are times that we argue about our "time" for the internet since one of our laptop broke. There are times that she wake up at night just to harvest. Most of my friends are addicted to it too. Just like you, they don't text that much, the way they used before. Facebook has been a part of our lives nowadays. And is getting to our nerves and we became addicted to it. I was once a facebook addict too but i quit. I have realized they are more to offer rather than "just playing".

I agree with you! Its seems that everybody is addicted to it. Yeah, its true! She is an addict. If there are times that there is no electricity maybe, she would go out to find an internet cafe and still harvest I find it funny at times too, but most of the time, it irritates me

I have to admit that I am a recent Facebook addict--the apps got me! lol. And I even tell people, I can't believe that these little games...that are so useless and meaningless, are so addicting! lol. You mention my favorite one too, Cafe World! Omg--if I'm not doing well on Cafe World, if any of my food goes rotten, if I run out of food to serve, it sucks! lol. I do use some apps on there that help animals though, and those one's aren't meaningless to me, so I use the site for good too! :P It's not just a time waster for me! lol.

One of my applications has already helped me earn 2 cups of food (money wise) for shelter dogs, and I'm on my way to cup #3! :) I also just recently joined an app to save horses from slaughter! So that's good!! (My sister has more of the useless game apps than me!!!) lol

My wife can be a facebook addict. When she has phone credit she uses almost all of it to use facebook during the day while she is at work. She loves writing on her status about things that happen to her, and she can't bear to wait to see how people reply. It is her social connection to many of her friends she can't see all the time. She also gets addicted to the games!

Yes, but I had a major scare on Facebook the last few days. There was a man who contacted me out of the blue, he was asking me to do things that I did not want to do, and I ended up having to block him. It was a bad situation. I had to change things on my page, make sure all of my friends were on there and where they should be, and double check everything. This man was aggravating me. He would not take "no" for an answer. I love Facebook, and I think that people should use Facebook, but do remember to use this site with caution. Honestly, use any website with caution. I am sure you have all heard of the things that happened with that one lady and how she lost her benefits because of incriminating photos. Don't let things like that happen to you. Of course, you probably all know this, but as a reminder, don't trust anyone, unless you know them and have met them in person, do not put photos online that could get you in trouble, and be sure that you always monitor your page to make sure that everything is as it should be. And if anyone is harassing you to report them or block them.

thanks for the reminder rogue...the best thing is not to add people you do not know so that no one will be in trouble.

I've noticed all of the same things as you. I won't say I'm an addict. I hardly ever play the games. I did however give up MySpace for Facebook. I actually created my facebook about 4 years ago but didn't start using it until about a year and a half ago. I thought Myspace was "it" but it seriously has nothing on Facebook these days.

Oh no!! not me. I have a facebook account but I am not addicted into it. I know of many people who are addicted to the games in face book. some of them sent me invitations about the games they are in. Like the farm, etc.. I don't care and I don't even reply or accept it. I don't want to waste my time into it. I am not interested to learn that game too. I better come here and post topics and discuss, then I would enjoy and have my reward at the end of the month.

I blame facebook for stealling my attention away from mylot. I have been find facebook so fantastic for even catching up with long lost school friends and relatives who live so far away. I have also been enjoying the games on there. And I have been having a poking war with my best friend on there. It is just so funny at times. But over the last few weeks, I am making sure that I come here and spend some time with my mylot friends.

I use facebook often that was before i discovered mylot. Now i spend most of my time online earning on mylot than use facebooks applications which i consider a totally waste of time. Maybe i'll reconsider going to facebook more often if they can find a way to pay users like what mylot is doing. Until then, I won't waste my time there. Cheers!

Anyways, after i have harvested my crops, served the 24-hour roasted Chicken in my cafe, bought a few friends, saw if my crops are ready for harvesting or if someone stole some i would be urgently leaving facebook...hehe...

I know how you feel, and how everyone else feels. It's because of the fun on games facebook has. It's a good strategy to have those types of games where you need or are required to visit once in a while. Else, the ranking goes down and everyone would be challenged to be on top. I think most social networkings fail because they lack imagination. I think Facebook has dominated because it's constantly new and there are a lot of added features. But even thought that's the case, I always remind myself that giving too much time on Facebook would actually be wasted time because you don't actually earn anything there. Which is why, I totally limit my time there by setting up everything all at once and of course doing it when I have absolutely nothing to do anymore.

true...at first I'm addicted to it..the next thing I knew I forgot to do all I have to do...So It's best to just limit our time in that site...but I totally agree with you that facebook really dominated other social networking sites because it really has a unique feature and other imitated them already like the chat application.(^_^)

No I am not an addicter in Facebook. Although many of my friends have face book, I still dont know what we do in it. I just have an account and they spam my e-mail which annoys me very much.

Yes u will see people using facebook and I am surprised they have 100's of friends I mean this is really a new thing for me. There are people who are connected to facebook thru their ip phones and what not. In my previous office we were banned from using it. Because my network admin thought we are using too much of bandwidth by watching movies or playing games. Besides about the games it depends how much u have and what you are plans are somsone who is constantly on job its really difficult for them to be online. Others well they enjoy :)

I am not a real facebook addict. I like to spend my online time more on Mylot where I can earn a little by socializing like on Facebook. But I do know some people that like to check their Facebook account many times in a day. I find it weird but its their choice to do it.

I signed up on facebook and just been there for several times. I can't keep my interest on social networking for long. But I have to admit that I am a little bit addicted to the network world. I can be alone for a long time as lon gas I have my laptop with me.
