I am a girl and I would like to wear ties.I think girls can wear ties.I can wear it with work clothes and with casual clothes.I can wear it with a black pencil cut skirt,white blouse,and knitted vest for a school-girl appeal.I can wear it over a white shirt with jeans or culottes for preppy look.
