Do you think the 2012 movie story line is way too farfetched?

I watched 2012 last night. I liked the action and the plot. But I think the story line is way too farfetched. I mean, if the earth crust will go down under, that would mean that there's a hollow empty beneath the ground. But nevertheless, the movie is worth watching. I just think that they could have invented a much more imaginative and realistic story line.

hi giegrace^^;; i think most movies are like that. they exaggerate it from the real ones and thinking this is not yet real because it haven't happened yet so it's only an imagination and that's how they imagined it... what i mean is, some movies are created based on true stories of people but still some are twisted and some events are added and they know this is what the viewers are looking for than realistic ones. we want something with very good special effects. even in action movies, fights would be boring without those fantastic kicks and punches

Well, the action is definitely worth it. Just that, I can't imagine the earth's crust going down like that. Not even the strongest earthquake can do that. Thanks for the reply.

it may or may not happen like but who knows? like did anyone expected the "Great Flood" too? i don't think so. and that's why it's called science fiction so people won't expect something real from it..

Yeah, i like the action but it's just too much fiction. I can't really imagine the earth going down like that!
