So Angry They Don't Listen.

Have you ever had to deal with someone who was so wrapped up in their angry moment that they were incapable of hearing what you were telling them?
I used to work in an office and my direct line had a similar number to a clinic and occasionally people would mis-dial. Usually I only had to tell them the correct number and they were happy to make the next call but one day I had a guy who was so wound up he wouldn't listen.
The 'phone rang and I anwered giving my company's name and my name. He goes "Is that the nurse's office?"
"No, this is an insurance company"
"You've cancelled my appointment and I'm old and...." for several minutes whilst I repeatedly tried to explain he had the wrong number and it wasn't the nurse's office.
He was bellowing at me for interrupting and ranting on about his medical problems and how inconvenient the whole thing was and how inconsiderate I was.
Eventually he stopped and demanded what I was going to do about it, at which point I finally managed to explain he had called the wrong number to which he said "Oh" and slammed the 'phone down without so much as an apology.
Have you ever come across someone like that?
