How Unprepared Could One Get?

Of late, we have been having very discouraging news of troop fatalities especially from the UK quarters in Iraq. It is one of the most eventful episode since WWII and I am just lost wondering how the reputable elite units there are loosing lives by the numbers. Whilst there were earlier news reports of ill equipping and logistics allocation, I just thought nothing of it other than some tabloids at play. However, I think this latest article will rile you. It is revealed that the troops in Iraq are so ill equipped that I am left wondering why the military departments did nothing to address the issue, where one of it being each soldier being armed with literally 5 bullets to fight! There were so much mismanagement and mis-allocations that is shockingly happening under people's noses, that it is just disgusting. What was the government thinking? Why isn't the leader aware? On what grounds did the troops actually went to war? What can 5 bullets do? Corruption? Misappropriation? I say foul play and I really hope that justice will prevail here.
