...Hi shuying8710, You are so lucky and blessed to have a partner who is able to help you by being there to listen to you and tune in to your concerns and give you feedback which you can use to reduce the tension in your life. Not many people are interested in listening to someone else's problems, let alone give them good advice. You have a connection with your partner which should be revered. Thank you for your reply. Take care.

Hi, Artistry. There are few ways for me to reduce my stress. When I felt stress, sometime I just sleeping, sleeping does not help much but at least give me a break. Jogging is a good idea, promote fresh brain. Sing as much as I can, until I very tired. Sometime no matter how you reduce your stress, the best way is solve the problem as fast as you can. After the problem I face was solved, all will be fine. Haha this is life, stress are part of our life. Have a nice day for you.

...Hi Josflch, Sometimes sleeping gives your brain a break, but then when you awaken you have to confront and deal with what stresses you out. The other things you do help you as well. Try to find a book on meditation, read it twice at least. Start to practice it, meditation will relax you and help you to build a reserve to deal with everyday obstacles. Things will cease to bother you as much and you will have less stress when you practice meditation. Take care.

hi artistry I listen to Mozart's violin and piano and flute sonatas for an hour or so to unwind before I ever go to bed.the glorious music soothes something in me and I begin to relax. all tension dissolves as I feel the passion in the music and enjoy all of the nuances in it. any music that you really love will do much the same thing, and if you combine this with a sweet scented skin lotion you put on your arms and legs you will lose all the tension knots in your body. too.

..Hi Hatley, When I was reading this, it sounded absolutely delicious. It seems like the nicest form of pampering your body and your senses. It also sounds like something you could find being done at a health spa or resort. I was very impressed with your response and ready to try it out for myself. Thank you very much for your reply.

..Hi my_name_is_coco, It sounds as though you are in touch with your needs and you attend to them. It is good, I think to have different ways to deal with stress. For one thing it does not get monotonous when you employ more than one technique when you de-stress. Thanks you for sharing, I appreciate it. Take care.

There are lots of ways to reduce stress in life and enjoy a anxiety free life. Whenever i get stressed out , i try to divert my mind from the situation which is driving me nuts. I usually prefer to leave the place and take solace in the happy and healthy environment. The best way to reduce stress is to go for meditation. when we set our focus on some point it boost our energy and remove all the negative energy from our body. i also love shopping . so this also one of my favorite past time. I go to shopping and this really makes me easy. Shopping does not mean that I have to purchase anything . I live window shopping too.

...Hi bluray, You found the formula, I think I read somewhere that one of the best stress reducers is a change of environment. I know that if I take a trip to the mall and stroll leisurely through the stores, by the time I go home, there is no stress and forgotten problems. Meditation is excellent to lose yourself in a comfort zone, another very good way to break down stress and relax the mind. Thanks so much for your response. Take care.

I feel that going to my blog to complain about what is bothering me is a good place to start. I can take out my anger on the keyboard without hurting myself or others. If the stress becomes to overwelming I will sometimes have a good cry. I'm not too ashamed to admit it. I feel better afterwards and I look at this way, at leeat i'm not self-mulating. I also try to figure my way around or out of a stressful situation. This helps reduce it for me as well. Because if I'm in control then I am safe. And the thing stressing me out becomes meaningless.

...Hi kaylachan, It is always okay to cry, we are given our tear ducts for just that purpose. A good cry each month used to be a habit of mine when I was younger, and my hormones were raging more. I remember having a talk with my cousin a long time ago and she depressed me so with a story about her husband cheating on her, that the only way I got rid of the depressing feeling was to have a good cry. Nothing to be ashamed of, I think men should cry more, it would probably reduce their stress levels. Please visit www.socyberty.com/writers/quiet+voice.8137. Look for "Scream if You Want Too!" You may find it interesting. Thanks for sharing, take good care.

Reducing stress seems to be a little bit difficult at times. I usually do best to reduce my stress once I'm alone. I do different things just depending on my mood. Sometimes I just relax and lay down somewhere and just breathe. I tell myself everything is fine and to relax. I read to do that somewhere online and it's worked for me. Some other times I like to write out all my problems so that way I don't continuously think about it anymore. Other times I like to take a nice warm bath it works real well to me. Afterwards I tend to get sleepy so then I'll take a little nap.

..Hi thuynhu, You have found different methods to reduce your stress levels, which is good. I tend to like the nice warm bath, it's like a warm blanket surrounding you. Meditation, what you are doing when you lie down quietly is very good, some people chant while they lie still and try to think of nothing. Stress reduction is important for our health and well being, so doing whatever it takes to keep our stress levels low is necessary. Thank you for your response. Take care.
