What's your favorite Operating System???Windows?Linux?Mac??

I am a computer guy. I spend many hours dealing with computer more than anything else. But I often use different OS to do different things. My primary OS is Windows Vista Ultimate, I use it for most of my activities, but I also use Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala in activities dealing with networking and hacking.
Both OS have advantages and disadvanteges of their own, and I think it's a very subjective decision for every person to chose which OS is their favorite.
What is yours?and why do you like that OS more than others??

Long time back, I used to use Linux. But since then I use Windows and have found that it is easy to not only use but to find software as well. Besides it is much easier for my parents and wife to operate as well and that is the reason why we continue to use Windows and not move onto Linux.

I agree with you that Windows is much more user friendly than Linux, but in my country a Windows Operating System is considered expensive to use for students and middle aged working person. That's why many people migrate to Linux considering it's open source therefor making it free to use or distribute.

you should try vista or 7. But XP is fine also, the compatibility is better than vista and 7. It just annoys me sometimes when I want to use a Windows program in Vista and a compatibility error showed up.. arrrrgghh...
Vista is supposed to be like the upgraded version of XP, why can't it run all XP programs..I'm just hoping Microsoft fixes this problem real soon

My favorite operating system is Windows 7. I have just bought a net book and it has that operating system. I have Windows Vista on my laptop and it is alright. On my computer which I don't have anymore I had Linux. That was fine. When I was new to computing I used Windows 98. I haven't ever used Windows XP or have I ever used a Mac operating system.

Windows all the way, lots of benefits... I am currently using windows 7 and i like it.
