A sad little email

The first email was sent November 1st, 40 years ago. It was just two letters long, "LO" rather than "LOG" as the author intended, and the computer promptly choked. You still must give that computer massive kudos if you are on the Internet today, because that sad little email was in fact a birth. It was the first communication between two computers over cyberspace, what we classically know as the Internet.

That computer itself was rather massive. It looked like a high tech refrigerator. It was as sensitively delicate as a butterfly. Today's tiny net-books are tougher.

Fail! He should have written LOL instead of LOG, would be funnier.
Seriously, it's truly amazing to hear that as early as then they've been able to create a road which we now call the internet, with all it's virusses, cp and stuff, I hope the creators didn't have the intention for the internet to be such a mess. :D

Well, be glad you see all the crapware because that crap guarantees someone somewhere is speaking 'free'.
