Have you ever been on a game show?

Ok so I have never been on a game show although I have often thought about going on Deal Or No Deal but most of these game shows are filmed in Melbourne & Sydney which are in completely different states to me & I know I have to pay my way to be there...so I would have to save my money but that's for a different discussion. One of my friends was on the Price Is Right back in the 80's...My question to you is have you ever been on a game show? If so, which one and what was your experience?

I have not been on a game show but my sister went on deal or no deal a few years back in Melbourne! I was trying to think of the name of this show in a previous discussion, but could not think of it as I never watch game shows. I had never heard of it until my sister told me that she was going to be on it! I did watch The Price Is Right in the 80's though...LOL COME ON DOWN!

From memory she did not win anything, I am not sure how the game works as I have not seen it, but I think she made it on to the show itself, but not the round where you win things?

No I have not but I would love to be on Wheel of fortune. Deal or no deal Press your luck. Maybe a few others. Well sometime the shows come to your town for aditions. Wheel of fortune and Deal or no Deal and Smarter than a fifth grader was in Pittsburgh.

Yeah, they do that sometimes here in Australia too but most of the time, you have to audition at the actual studios :(

oh I didn't know they make you audition only in the studio. they come to our town and let you audition with other people to see who they pick. Most of the time they do it I am at work or something comes up. I need to try this I would love to be on a game show. Or even a reality show I would like to check out also.

No I haven't ever been on a game show but I would love to be on one but I feel like I would be nerveous and couldn't answer the questions like I do when I am at home it seems easy when your'e at home but I would be all shaky and probably get brain freeze.L.O.L

Hey moonchild! Its nice that you are going for a game show. I participated in game shows but they not tv shows .Once i had participated in quiz show conduted by CNN IBM (Indian )channel.Though i not won but it feel great for participating in it.

I'm also trying to participate in game show.But when they call for shoot, mostly it would be working day.

They always do that don't they...I think they should have at least 1 audition day on a weekend so people don't have to take time off work

not yet, but it might be fun. My husband and I have been talking about getting him on Jeopardy. His ex-wife wanted him on there because "we could use the extra money." I told him I want him on there because he's SMART, and to hell with the extra money. If HE makes some money (he does the work on the show so it's his money) then great, but if not, then that's fine too.

Hi moonchild. No, I've never been on a game show, but when I was growing up I wanted to be on the Price Is Right. I loved that show and always wanted to play plinko or 10 chances. I especially wanted to play 10 chances when I got a bit older because I got pretty good at that particular game. LOL My late grandmother was never on the show itself, at least I don't think so anyway, but back in the 80's she won a car from the at home game they were having. Unfortunately she never did learn how to drive so she took the money instead. LOL Happy mylotting!

Your grandmother was pretty lucky!! I always loved the final game on the price is right where they have to put everything in price order...i was pretty good at that one!
