What is on your Black Friday Shopping List?

Black Friday is the day that retailers typically go from the red to the black for the year. And, one of the ways that they do this is to have huge sales to start off the holiday shopping season. So, my questions for you today. What is on your Black Friday shopping list? Are you going to be getting up really early to get those deals that you are looking for? Are you avoiding shopping at all costs? For me there are four things that I would like to buy on Black Friday and I've already got my shopping plan laid out. I need to get some Littlest Pet Shop pets for my daughter's stocking ($3.00 at Meijer) then I need to get a comforter set for each of my children ($18.00 each at Wal-Mart) and finally I want to get an office chair for my husband ($35.00 at Wal-Mart). So, everyone else, share your plans with me.

I am avoiding the stores at all costs. I am not one to shop with big crowds. I am glad that you have a shopping plan it will make shopping so much easier. I wish I had the money to finish my shopping. My husband is very hard to shop for. He never tells me what he wants. He keeps saying "I don't need anything". When boys are younger they are so much easier to shop for, but when they get older they are harder.

I've noticed the same thing about it getting more difficult to shop for my daughter as she has gotten older. This year I used over 400 dollars in Amazon gift cards to do the bulk of my shopping and then some Tupperware stuff that I got for nearly nothing so now that the holiday season is really upon us, it is easier for me because I really haven't spent any real money yet.

I think it is great that you were able to get 400 in gift cards. I bet that was a big help to you. I am making gift baskets for my husband's family and I know I can not start that until December. I also bought some ceramic ornaments, a ceramic Santa and sled, and a ceramic house that I will start painting next week. I already bought my niece and nephews books. I am not sure why some people are harder to shop for as they get older. My husband has always been hard to shop for.

My daughter is in the USA until Saturday. She is now on her way to Mississippi and I am hoping that our friends will point her into the right direction to buy me a bread making machine. That is all I want - do you have any idea of the price before the sale starts? I would be so grateful if you could let me know so that I could call her tomorrow.

Thank you for responding. A major problem is the size as it would take one suitcase and she would have to pay for the extra suitcase so we are rethinking it. Regretfully. I will look at the site and see the price of a good make. I understand that a cheap bread maker is not a good thing to buy. Blessings

nothing is on my black friday list...I stay away for them stores on that day. I would rather pay alittle more then fight that traffic and crowed. I have never done the friday shopping day...When My kids were home I would have all my shopping done before Thanksgiving. That way, I could just relax

One part of me would really like to be able to just relax in the final month leading up until Christmas, but the other part of me has to go to the stores on that day for the simple fact that it is like a tradition to me.
