I believe that the practice of celebrating Thanksgiving Day originated in the USA. I know that no other country in the world puts as much into their celebration. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my American friends a very happy and safe Thanksgiving.

hi pose123 thanks to a neighbor from Canada and hope you and'yours are all happy and safe. yes we Americans really take thanksgiving seriously. I just hope we Americans remember to give thanks when stuffing their faces with'yummy food and all talking at once. it is not just a time for family and food, but a time to give thanks, that comes once a year.we should be giving thanks all the time really.

Yes giving thanks is looked on as a good thing, but I know America is the country that started having a special day just for that. Thanksgiving is one of our most important celebrations. Thank you for your good wishes
