Hi friends, Nowadays hardly youth enter politics, especially in india due to simple reasons " our india is economically poor, slums more, illetaracy more, heavy population, unemployment increases day by day, why i say this because with all these burdens one has the responsibilities to take care of his family and challenges faced in his survival. when you see in this aspect definitely youth has no way to enter in politics which needs the support of the dons and more finance. In another side, it is important for us to know the manner in which we are governed. And this hope so do not distract us from doing our duties and responsibilities to our parents and family. In fact politics is the concern for the better needs of the common people. So in a way we only become more conscious about our duties towards our society at large. So, what is your view and opinion friends? Should Youth Indulge in Politics or not?

Hi, Definitely the youth must participate proactively into politics. We have given the reign of our country to some old, crooked, corrupt, money making, power hunger murderers. We need to thinl and act as the youth in order to have a better future. I feel so sad when I see the youth copying the west blindly and indulging themselves in fashion and other useless things. The ones who participate into those silly reality shows are the worst. I think it is wrong to say that since we ar poor we don't have the time to serve our country. Scenario has changed. People have become extra luxurious, the success of shopping malls is an example. It is just that we are not concerned. it is our country and only we can save it from going to the dogs. Bodhi P.S. I feel to write on and on....

Heu WB, There is no such word as conactive, look out for the dictinary, and "proactive" doesn't imply double positive. The meaning of the word is as in the Oxford's English dictionary is "tending to initiate change".Lok out for the sentence structure I formed with the said word. I repeat there isn't a word as "Conactive". Get your facts cleared.

Proactive? Isn't that word a double positive? And therefore usless? Proactive verses what, conactive? It just isn't proper english. You are either active or inactive.

In Simple terms, yes. Education, good proper education is the key to prosperity for a man and a nation. Your government should be doing something to support good education. An uneducated person is easy to control, so is one that has a faulse education. Faulse religions (like Islam) prefer the people ignorant and poor so they can be controlled. Liberalism here in America prefers a false education such as teaching that America is bad and anthroprogenic global warming is real. Hence, people under the liberal system tend to thing that the tings that happen in movies like "The Day After tomorrow" and "2012" could actually happen. "A lie is a lie, no matter how many people believe it to be truth"

With the condition of political parties in Indi at the moment, no self-respecting, God-fearing and life-fearing youth would want to enter politics or take up politics as a career. Today as a parent, I’m teaching certain values to my son which I expect him to follow in later life, I’m spending some money for his education in the hope that he would get a good job and he too dreams of doing something which would make his family and nation proud. Do you think today’s politicians every do anything which would make our nation proud? NO…and if you stand up to them, most likely you’ll be shot.

Here in the Philippines I don't know want to be a politician. Being a politician is very hard, challenging and you have an obligation to your country. Politics here is very dirty just recently in Mindanao because of political rivalry many have brutally been killed. Some politicians have hidden agenda too why they want to run in this 2010 election. They have many promises from the last election that never been granted when they won it seems they forgot all of it. You can serve the people without entering in the politics in your own little way. Like what CNN hero Efren Peñaflorida did and we are proud of Him now many politician want to help him to build schools because of his effort and perseverance to educate the out of school youth by his pushcart classroom. I think they only want to clean their image because they are running again. Politics is very dirty but we don't lose hope that there's a credible and honest person going to change our government and our country.

Hi priya, According to me youth should indulge in politics. But till now i havent seen, i have seen only people who is more than 50. These people will in a position for 5 years and they think they can loot money. But in sometimes they will be least botheed to think on the society on what they have the problems. A youth has to be politics soon so we can see atleat some change in the way they make decissions. Have a great day

Hi frnds , in india youth are not interested to start their profession as politicians . Although now a days politics is a good source to earn money , most of the youth are interested to settle their carrer in software or core industry . The reason behind is most of them are not rich and they willnot get support from other people . People who are rich / people who are illiterates are joining politics since they cannot grew their carrer by doing job . Indias future depends only on youth and the current politicians are very much eager to earn money instead of developing the country .Some one / some way initiative has tobe taken and change has to come from our end .

I watched the movie "Page 3" by madhur Bhandarkar a couple of years ago. And I like what Atul Kulkarni's character says in it . "You have to be in the system to change the system". So I think yes youth should get into politics. Youth is a major force inany society. Their fearless confidence and belief that they can change the world comes in handy when trying to write the fate of a country.Politics today is a profession for the ones involved in it. and with the kind of money the politicians and political parties put into the campaigning no wonder they want to earn for themselves rather than work for the country. But I wonder how much a youth has a chance to get elected considering the structure of our election mechanism. I think the youth should start by identifying the politicians that represent the real india and supporting them by electing them. Sadly our country has more of a party based politics rather than individual based. So even if a person may be honest and efficient we can never guarantee the party he represents would be. And so even if we elect a right person maybe we are electing a party which is more currupt than other parties. Its actually a very vicious circle. BUt5 I am sure if Youth recognizes its role in the political scenario they can do a lot for the country.

YES, the youth are the hope of every nation. Without them our country would not have good leaders in the future. Youths engaging in politics are best examples of how people wanted to have change in the government. Youth do have many bright ideas which are good for the country. Old timers have the same trash ideas recycled over and over again. For me, youth should actively engaged in politics.

well for me the youth should not indulge in politics because education is more important and if graduated the youth must strive hard to work so that they can be productive and this will mean more to your country to be progressive in the future.
