Burning coookies.

I find that the best thing to do is to bake the cookies one at a time and reduce heat/lower the temperature until you have the perfect cookie! It may take a while, but it is really worth it. Better to have a couple of ruined cookies than to have a whole batch of them!

i'm sorry that they burn. it's funny you put this discussion cause i just made some cookies this morning. and i almost burnt my second batch cause i was trying to cook my husband his breakfast. i always set my timer for less than the maximum time that they have posted. they usually post a time like 8 to 10 minutes so I usually put it in for 9. And check them at 8 and usually you can see when they start to brown on the bottom. Don't give up cookies are the best little snacks. good luck.
