False alarm...my dog and her upset stomach

Sometimes it is so exasperating. My chihuahua, Daisy, eats pretty much anything. I seriously thought she was sick the other day because she kept on whining when anyone tried to pick her up. She was also curling up in her cage and wouldn't come no matter how much anyone called her. She acted similar when she was ill a few months ago so everyone were worried. I was about to take her to the vet when my mom suggested that we wait until the next day to see if she got worst. It was a good thing that I listened to her too. She was running around and acting like nothing happened the next day. Everyone was perplexed about the cause of her strange behavior the day before. It wasn't until later that we found out that she had snuck into my brother's room and ate an entire cheeseburger by herself. So, basically, she just had an upset stomach. My brother was pretty pissed that his food was eaten and we actually had a good laugh from it.

Hello Saizo I figured that it was that she ate too much or she was constipated. That is how our dog acts when he eats too much. I am glad you waited till the next day. Sometimes we think of our animals like they are children. And that is a good thing but we always have to wait and see if it is something to really worry about or just constipation....LOL Hope you have a great day!

You are so right about that. I did kind of learn my lesson from last time so that helped. I took her in but she was feeling fine. But then a few days later she sprained her foot so we had to take her in again. But now we know to be on the look out because she's such a little piggy.

I have a little piggy too he will eat till you stop feeding him. I get on to the old man and tell him not to keep giving him stuff. Then he complains about Sam not eating his food.
