India in Driver's seat!! Can they finish off the job?

After Sreesanth bowled brilliantly to take 5 and demolish Sri Lanka in the first innings, India have again picked up both the openers with less than 50 on board. Do you think India can finish the job and go 1-0 up in the series?

Yes India have finshed this job brilliantly drawing to a 1-0 lead in the series. And it was quite self evident from the match contours at the third day lunch.

Yes I agree with you, Sreesanth bowled very well and wrap srilankan team within 250.Also in 2nd inning, india did a very good job by getting 4 wickets in 50+ runs.
I am sure india will win this test match in 4thday and get 1-0 lead in this series.

Now they have taken 4 for 57....this is surely in India's pocket.......and with sreesanth in form....India's surely gonna win this.......
the bet should be on will Sri Lanka last the day or not.....????

I dont think the test will go the distance.India should comfortable finish off the remaining srilankans before tomorrows tea. An innings defeat is imminent unless the lower middleorder does some miracle. But with the kind of bounce the pitch is offering I think we are going to see lot more dismissals in the form of bowled and LBW. I think Harbhajan is in with a good chance to scalp a five for in this innings unless Sreesanth and Zaheer bowl sharp spells in unison at the start of the day. There is no reason why Sreesanth cannot take another five for in this innings.
But there seems to be no way for Srilanka to save the match with almost 180 overs remaining to be bowled. Angelo Mathews though a good player lacks test match experience to provide resistance for that long. Samaraweera is competent but beyond that its gonna be not much of a fight for the experienced bowling line up in the form of Harbhajan and Zaheer.

Yes, I agree with your assessment. As I had mentioned earlier the bounce of the pitch has come into play from today onwards. Sreesanth was excellent today. I want him to have another real go tomorrow morning and if he can get one or two early in the day, I think we could even be done by lunch or tea tomorrow.

Sri Lanka have lost 4 wickets following on in the second innings.They do not seem to be in a sort of condition to fight back on this track. We seem to be going well towards a victory.It is very lucky that we won the toss and produce a superb batting effort while the going was good. I shudder to think what would have happened had we batted second on this track.

If not now then when , there is a wide open chance to clinch off the test with an innings , good come back by sreeshanth and a very good behaviour in the field by him without much gestures .. Keep rocking india keep going ...
