can credit card standing or status affects visa application?

Hey mylotters, i just want to ask for help. I want to ask if credit card standing affects visa application. I mean if you dont pay your credit card, do it will make your visa application cancelled or denied?

Yes, credit card standing will definitely affect your Visa application. Your credit card standing shows how responsible you are as a person -- if you take responsibility of the things you put on your credit and pay for them, then your credit card company will consider you as a responsible citizen. On the other hand, you'll get bad reviews.
If you're applying for a Visa, what also helps is a long standing bank account -- a bank account that has been on your name for a period of years (a decade, for example). This is something you can't fake, which is why it's a good source of credibility.

could be, if you declare your credit cards as one of your assets and they could trace your records. that is for tourist or student visa that i know
since it may show that you don't have the financial ability to travel abroad nor study when you have debts even here.
