No Federer is not a GOAT for me nor is he any other animal. For me he is just a fantastic tennis player. He started this year a bit low on confidence and Nadal was on fire, but as the year progressed he started getting better and better. The French Open was definitely the turning point and since then he has gone from strength to strength. Cheers! Ram

Lol, GOAT, meaning Greatest of all time, i am sure you know that but lets look at it from the numbers point of view, there is hardly any kind of record remaining that he hasnt yet broken, so is there any way you could say hes not the Greatest of all time? i mean hes won all 4 grand slams, number one for record 237 weeks in a row and now the number 1 for 5 years.... whom would you say competes against him, i dont mean to argue but just wanting to know your point of views, thanks

Oops! I never figured that out!! But to me all discussions of Greatest etc. are meaningless, because players play in different eras with different challenges and each champion should be viewed in that. For e.g. Borg was amazing winning 5 Wimbledons on the trot while winning back to back French Opens!! Similarly, Sampras played in an era where he had champs such as Agassi to take on. Mcenroe played in an era where his earlier career had Connors around and the later career had boom boom Becker around. So I really do not get into this GOAT business at all. Cheers! Ram

yea guess you are right about the GOAT lol, we cant just point at one player and say he was the greatest because they all had different times and different challenges, but must say federer has some kind of record going on and he doesent get tired breaking them.

He's probably the best ever tennis player. But he's definitely the most boring, charisma-bypass-operation, dull, fake, lame, pointless sack-o'-sh*te that I've ever had the misfortune to watch... Frankly, I'd rather sit in a bath full of beans and chew my way through my own ar$e than sit through another Wimbledon trophy presentation... I prefer the crazy types - like Goran!

you are indeed crazy lol, when you say boring do you mean his personality or his playing style?

i must be number one in tennis now just see how many awards he have got so far i think it is around 60 champions ,if he continues like this even Nadal also very difficult to win him ,
