Have you ever met a special person (can be a family member, friend and even a stranger) that taught you and left something in you that you wont forget? It can also be a person that you didnt expect it from. It can be a simple phrase, action or an opinion that this person has said and done. In a few words what will you remember certain people for? What special things and feelings they left you?

It's my father. He instilled to me the love of reading. I always saw him reading when I was a kid. He didn't give me any children's books. I started reading Reader's Digest and Time magazines when I was five, because this was the kind of reading materials he brought home from work. I have loved books and have loved reading ever since. I've passed this on to my nephews, and they always frequent the bookshops.

You surely are proud of your father! A parents job and values are always to admire.

Hi. I would say that it's my first grade teacher in elementary. She didn't know me yet she was able to spot my potentials. She took care of me as if I were her own child. During lunch breaks, she would always talk to me and encourage me to always give my best shot. I used to be a very shy kid that's why my classmates would always bully me. She was the one who told me to be strong. She was my teacher 23 years ago and I have not seen her for nearly a decade now, yet I could still remember her smiles and words of encouragement. She will be forever in my heart. I hope that I could still see her someday. When that time comes, I hope that she could still remember me.

How nice to ready your story. Its so great to hear about people like these especially when its a teacher. They make big difference in our lives. I am sure that she will remember you. I have no doubt about that. I also have a special teacher which I treasure great memories of. She was my spanish teacher and we are in contact till now. She encouraged me so so so much. She knew i was able to make it and infact I did. She keeps on remembering and I do the same. I have to be glad to know her because she did so much to me. She is a very dedicated person. She isnt just a teacher. She is sort of a friend to others. People like these are simple great and we should thank god every day for having met these people in our lives.
